Accounts can be created for free and are required if you plan to advertise a business on this site. General users obtain access to additional features by signing up.

Do I need an account?
Not all users need an account. It is free to create a user account.
General users are people who use ConnectEzy to search and compare business ads to find reputable suppliers, professionals, trades and service providers. You don’t need an account to search and compare businesses.
However, general users need an account to save businesses, leave reviews, and setup search notifications.
Business owners and managers who want to advertise their business services/products need to create a user account.
Create an account – sign up
To signup to a new account you will need a username, email address and password.
It is recommended if you are a business advertising, you use your business name as your username. However, if you are a sole trader, you should use your name.
General users can use their personal name or nickname.
The username is visible to everyone on the website, so choose an appropriate name that you are comfortable with other people seeing.
Steps to sign up
1. Go to home page
2. Go to signup page – choose from navigation menu on home page
3. Enter a username (see tips for selecting a username below)
4. Type full email address
5. Enter password (see guidelines for choosing a password below)
6. Confirm password – retype it again
7. Agree to terms and conditions
8. Tick “I am not a robot” and complete recaptcha process
9. Click or tap “Register” to sign up
10. Login screen opens. Login with username and password.
11. Check your email for a welcome email verifying your username and password
Tips for selecting a username
- Use your personal name, nickname or business name
- Do not use inappropriate words or your user account will be deleted. See terms and conditions for more information about user names
- Only include letters and numbers
- Symbols, punctuation and spaces are not allowed in usernames
- Spam usernames will be deleted.
Guidelines for choosing a password
- length between 8 and 12 characters
- include upper and lower case letters
- include numbers and symbols
- don’t use spaces.
Why can’t I sign up?
There are a number of reasons you can’t sign up. Check each of these reasons to eliminate reasons why you can’t register.
- your username contains symbols, punctuation or symbols
- that username already exists
- your email isn’t a complete email address
- the password doesn’t match the confirmed password
- the “I agree to the terms and conditions” hasn’t been ticked
- you haven’t clicked or tapped the “Register” button
- you are using the login form instead of the signup form.
Why can’t I login?
Sometimes users can’t login because they are either entering the incorrect information or they haven’t signed up. Check the following if you can’t login.
- Are you using the login page/form?
- Have you entered the correct username and not your email address?
- Are you entering the password you signed up with?
- Have you signed up before trying to login?
If after checking each of the above and you still can’t login, please contact us and we will reset your account.
How is my privacy protected?
Our privacy policy explains how your privacy is protected. We will not sell or distribute your personal information.
On ConnectEzy advertisers’ profile information including business email and contact details are visible with each advertisement. Advertisers can create a separate email account and use a generic business telephone number to use with their advertisements.
We do everything we can including updating security code to block and prevent spammers from accessing information on this website. However, advertisers must be aware that their contact details will be visible to all users.
General users account information including username and profile image is only visible to other users/visitors/advertisers if the general user has left a review for a business, or contacted the advertiser directly.
Information stored in the user account is secure and protected.
What are the terms and conditions for having an account?
When general users, registered users, advertisers use this website they do so according to our policies including terms and conditions, privacy policy and website disclaimer.
Read the terms and conditions to learn about our integrity and the services we provide and the conditions and rules we provide those services. Our expectations are for users to engage with us legitimately and this excludes use of our site and services by spammers, criminals and competitors.
Users who inappropriately use our site will have their account deleted and this includes any content attached to their account.
This site is monitored and moderated consistently.
